I ordered two of these for my daughter and her best friend. The quality was better than I expected for the money. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars was one of the chains broke the first time it was worn. If that had not happened it would be 5 stars for sure.

This heart is very pretty but I was glad I wrote the words on it, down, and enclosed them with it as it is hard to read because it twists and turns. Also in the picture the heart hangs straight up and down but actually it hangs on a slant but other than that it is very nice and my friend really appreciated it.

I ordered two of these thinking they would make great Christmas presents for out of town friends. Thanks to Amazon's fast delivery (reason for the one star rating), they arrived in time for me to see they would not do. The pendants were pretty, but the engraving was so tiny it was impossible to read which defeated the reason for buying. I sent them back.

I gave this gift to my roommate and it seems that she liked it. I loved the message inscribed in the necklace. Most of all, I loved that it came in a gift box and a satchel inside both a lovely blue color. As another reviewer mentioned, it is larger than expected but I consider that a good thing. If the pendant were any smaller, you wouldn't be able to read the inscription. Just get a plain heart shaped pendant at that point. It gets one star less because the edges are a bit rough and not completely smoothed out.

The picture doesn't quite do this item justice for good and bad reasons; The pendant is absolutely lovely, a great gift idea for any female friend, it's shiny and the engraving is well done ... nothing lees than one can expect from a silver pendant ... really very nice. But the odd swirl loop to shape the heart is not practical with the chain that comes with it as the pendant now goes jumping and almost never stays in position as the picture depicts. The chain is a basic, light, cheap looking, thin silver chain that I tossed to the side. The pendant has some weight (comparing to the chain that is) so I got a thicker chain and that worked for me!
