I was skeptical about buying this due to some of the reviews but I took a chance. I am very happy I did. This is so beautiful! Yes, the back is flat but it lays well against my chest. Yes, it is dark underneath because it is not polished there, but no one sees that part because it is flat and lays flat and doesn't turn or twist. Also, yes it is light which is nice it doesn't weight the neck down. But, I need to mention though it is light it also is thick enough and sturdy that it won't bend easy. The bail on this is a good size since you will want to get a new chain for it since the chain that does come with it is a bit dainty and fragile but its good enough till you get something a little more substantial. I have had this for almost 2 months now and I wear this everyday even while showering and it looks like new.I do highly recommend this.

I'm a big fan of Amazon jewelry and have never been let down. This Filigree Key Pendant is not that great. I read the reviews, but ordered it anyway. I was thrilled about it at first when I took it out of the box. I put it on right away and wore it all day. My husband came home and the first thing he said was, "Hey, wadya buy at the dollar store?" I took it off right away and realized why he said it. :( Although the pendant looks great from a distance, the back of it looks hollow and unfinished. I liked the scroll work and generally the size of it, but it really is cheaply made. I think over time it'll turn black and bend a little. I'm not sure how it claims to be sterling silver. Is it maybe for just the chain? Or was silver "sprayed" on the pendant. Don't know, but I'll wear this trendy pendant layered with other necklaces. I would NOT purchase this as a gift for anyone.

I purchased this key pendant from Amazon about 2 weeks ago. It looks like the picture except for like the other reviews say, it's not an "entire key" just looks like one that has been cut in half. It is pretty when being worn, and you can't tell. Another issue is that I only paid $17.99 and now Amazon is selling it for $25... It's not worth it and I don't understand why Amazon does this (they have done this with several products I have purchased) Trust me, you can find prettier and better quality key pendants elsewhere...

Slightly smaller than I expected but the key is quite exquisite. Then chain however, was far too fine to carry ANYTHING. It immediately broke and I threw it away. Still, the key is quite beautiful and I wear it on a small, black, silk cord.Perfect.

As the title says, the pendant is beautiful. Yes its one sided, but so are many pendants. The chain, however, was far too dainty, to the point where it just felt cheap. Easily fixed though, the pendant easily slid onto a new chain!

Was happy with this purchase. I got this of a gift for my sister she loved it. The detail is well done, and pretty. The chain was okay but for the price is was right. The real charm and detail is in the key itself.

I have always had a passion for skeleton keys, but; with class to them. I am starting to see them all over and at all prices and in many styles. To me they have a mystery to them which gives them a unique charm. I had been looking for a really beautiful and vintage style one and when I seen this one on Amazon I knew I had to look no further. Everything from price to style was perfect. I asked my husband to get it for me for Christmas and he did and I love it.
This beautiful piece of jewelry in my opinion deservers even more than the 5 stars.
